Enhancing Your Life Through Giving
Our steadfast supporters use their heads to
give from
their hearts.
They know that their gifts, bequests, and planned giving address the need for benevolent care, community enrichment, capital improvements, growth and expansion, and much more.
They know that the WEL Foundation is a good steward with a respected, faith-based heritage. They know how seriously we take our mission: Enhancing life for people who are dedicated to living.
And they know how to make astute decisions to nurture their own financial well being.
If you share our vision--that we may have to age, but we don't have to get old, consider the many ways you, too, can achieve your financial goals while helping us fulfill our mission.
Join us as we shape the future of aging services. Contact Jeff A. Petty, President & CEO, at 215-354-3199 or jpetty@WEL.org.
Charitable contributions to the WEL Foundation support benevolent care for residents, help enhance services, provide for capital improvements, and ensure a bright future for the communities of Wesley Enhanced Living. What does giving do for you, the donor? Here are several benefits you can enjoy when you give.

• A Bequest >
Many generous individuals fulfill their
charitable intent simply and directly by
designated the WEL Foundation as a beneficiary in
their wills. You can specify a sum or a percent
of your estate. Bottom line, a bequest of this
nature is 100% tax deductible from estate taxes.
• Charitable Gift Annuity >
When you create a charitable gift annuity, you
generate an income tax deduction, defer or avoid
capital gains tax, and create fixed income
stream, partially tax free, for yourself for
life.
• Charitable Remainder Trust >
This type of trust is an important hedge against
inflation because it generates variable lifetime
income for your beneficiaries while reducing
estate taxes. It also results in an income tax
deduction while helping you avoid capital gain
tax at the time of funding.
• Charitable Lead Trust >
Through a charitable lead trust, you not only
produce income for a number of years for the WEL
Foundation, but you also provide your
beneficiaries with an estate-tax-free
inheritance.
• Gift of Life Insurance >
You can designate the WEL Foundation as a
beneficiary or partial beneficiary of your life
insurance policy. Or you can donate the policy
during your lifetime. In either case, you can
receive good income tax benefits. Call us at
215-354-3193.
• Matching Gift >
Please check with your employer to determine if
the company will match your gift to a qualified
charitable organization. By doing so, you can
significantly enhance your donation's value to
the WEL Foundation. Call us at 215-354-3193.
• Annual Fund >
The WEL Foundation's Annual Fund campaign is an
important part of our development efforts, and
any gift to the fund joins the hundreds of others
to help advance programs and services for
residents who depend upon us. Call us at
215-354-3193.
• Outright Gift, Honor, Tribute Gift or Memorial Gift >
These gifts via mail, phone or credit card give
you an immediate income tax deduction and have an
immediate impact on WEL residents and programs.
Contact us, or call 215-354-3193. If you are
making a contribution in memory, in honor, or in
tribute of someone, an event, or an anniversary,

Foundation, your gift of securities, mutual
funds, bonds, or IRAs and Keoghs helps you reduce
your capital gains tax liability and income
taxes. Call us at 215-354-3193.
